Job Summary
Electrical Project Manager responsible for the administrative and technical management of electrical construction projects. Supervise contract administration, change orders, submittals, procurement, and scheduling; secure permits and verify insurance for subs; lead project meetings; supervise and develop project teams; prepare monthly status reports; provide technical leadership and maintain project records. Develop relationships with owners and engineering firms; participate in proposals and presentations. Requires undergraduate degree in Engineering/Construction Management (graduate degree a plus), 5-7 years of construction experience (electrical contractor experience preferred), and supervisory experience; DBIA/LEED accreditation a plus. On-site in Capitol Heights, MD with primarily in-person field work; safety-conscious and able to manage high-performance, fast-paced project environments.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or similar field
- 5-7 years construction experience required; working for an electrical contractor on large scale construction highly preferred
- DBIA and LEED Accreditation a plus
- Experience managing projects from start to finish
- Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment and extended hours as needed
