Job Summary
Lead the design and coordination of electrical systems across commercial, industrial, retail, multifamily, and mixed-use developments; oversee calculations, power distribution design, lighting layouts, and construction documents; manage projects end-to-end with accountability for quality, scope, and delivery timelines; mentor junior engineers and coordinate with MEP/Fire Protection/Structural teams; engage in client meetings and project coordination, and provide resource planning support.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE)
- Licensure: Active Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Experience: Minimum 8 years of electrical engineering and building systems design experience
- Software: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical modeling software
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA, IBC, electrical systems design, and multidisciplinary coordination
- Leadership: Proven ability to mentor junior staff and lead project teams effectively
- Communication: Strong client-facing communication and project coordination skills
