Electrical Project Engineer

Prepare design plans, specifications, and related documents for engineering projects under manager direction. Document design progress through drawings, calculations, and tabulations for QA/QC reviews. Evaluate site conditions including topographic surveys and geotechnical data. Coordinate with utility companies for new services or relocations. Perform calculations for project feature design and develop or back-check quantity and cost estimations. Utilize value engineering and technical input throughout the design process. Act as liaison with clients and contractors to solve coordination and site activity problems. Control project costs by managing budgets, invoicing, and reporting. Continuously develop knowledge of engineering best practices and standards. This role supports municipal, IDOT, and roadway lighting projects within the Mechanical/Electrical Department at CBBEL's Rosemont headquarters.
