Job Summary
Perform engineering calculations and develop electrical system designs in compliance with industry standards, codes, and project requirements. Prepare and review construction documents, specifications, and engineering drawings while coordinating with project managers, architects, and other disciplines throughout the design process. Provide technical leadership by mentoring junior staff, resolving complex challenges through sound engineering judgment, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and meeting quality standards. Lead design efforts and communicate effectively with clients regarding project requirements and progress.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of electrical building systems, engineering principles, and applicable building codes
- Proficiency in Revit, engineering modeling software, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership, organizational, problem-solving, and time management abilities
