Job Summary
The Electrical Programming Engineer 1 will be responsible for designing software and programming PLC/HMI systems, primarily with Allen Bradley or Siemens. This role involves advanced designs of new products, redesigning software, and ensuring all designs meet safety requirements. Key responsibilities include developing concepts to meet customer requirements, performing product commissioning and debugging, and maintaining proper documentation. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects are essential. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional software development environment
- Knowledge of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC/HMI systems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with robotics programming
- Experience with SolidWorks electrical
- Experience with AutoCAD
