Job Summary
Conduct electrical engineering tasks and support sustaining engineering projects, including component selection, design changes, and process efficiency. Perform design lab experiments, analyze results, and release product documentation while participating in DFM, DFT, and DFR reviews to improve quality and reduce test/assembly time. Drive cost avoidance and reduction initiatives, support root cause analysis for yield/quality issues, and communicate technical concepts to cross-functional teams. Collaborate with global time zones and contract manufacturers to deliver high-quality products through the full lifecycle from launch to end of life.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
- 10 years of experience
- Master's degree with equivalent background
- Solid foundation in electrical engineering
- Experience in DFx
- Experience with schematic tools
- Experience with CAD tools
- Experience with CAE tools
- Ability to analyze information
- Ability to support root cause analysis
- Ability to resolve yield/quality issues
- Ability to solve straightforward technical problems
- Ability to present logic and decisions
- Strong communication skills
