Electrical Preconstruction Manager

Job Summary
Lead all preconstruction services including sales, design, budgeting, and bidding for the division; review scope of work to determine materials, duration, and responsibilities; contribute to value engineering and propose alternatives; reconcile estimates with consultants and design team; prepare and present conceptual estimating; assist in business development meetings; coordinate feedback between operations, accounting, project owner, and architect during estimating and construction; review all estimates and scope of work/submissions; provide superior customer service; communicate scope of contract to supervisors, clients, and subcontractors; require a HS/GED with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, 7+ years in construction estimating/preconstruction, and strong organizational, communication, and team skills.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or GED
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in construction estimating and preconstruction management
- License: Valid state driver's license
- Background Check, Drug Screen Testing
- Proven ability to lead preconstruction services including sales, design, budgeting, and bidding
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD/Bluebeam/Spectrum/Accubid/Ca)
- Knowledge of NEC and Electrical Theory
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs
- Ability to develop and follow construction schedules
- Experience in value engineering and proposals
