Job Summary
The Electrical Power Generator - Field Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repairing power generation systems, including gas and diesel engines, as well as Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS). The role requires at least 3 years of experience in field or shop settings, strong customer service skills, and effective communication abilities. Candidates must maintain a valid driver's license, possess their own tools, and demonstrate self-sufficiency. The position includes routine weekday work, on-call obligations, and requires travel throughout Texas.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of Electrical Power and Generator experience
- At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of Gas and Diesel Engine experience
- At least 3 years of field or shop service tech troubleshooting and repair skills of ATS (Automatic Transfer Switches) experience
- Must have a clean and valid driver's license
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must have own tools
- Ability to be productive by working efficiently and effectively with a high energy level
- Ability to work with limited supervision
Additional Requirements
- Must be on-call
- Must be able to work Monday-Friday and Saturdays and Sundays
