Job Summary
Entry-level Electronics Assembler I responsible for basic assembly, inspection, and packaging of electronic components and subassemblies under close supervision. Reads schematics/layouts, drills/taps holes, mounts components in enclosures and control panels, performs point-to-point wiring, labels parts per drawings, and adheres to safety and quality procedures. Focus on developing foundational electronics assembly skills, with emphasis on accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork to support on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 2+ years’ experience working as an electrical panel builder / wire person in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to recognize common electrical controls components
- Ability to use hand (e.g. wire strippers/crimpers) and/or power tools (e.g. drills, punches, jigsaws)
- Ability to measure
- Ability to read Electrical Drawings/Schematics
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
