Electrical Operations Supervisor (2nd Shift)

Job Summary
Lead a team of up to 15 electricians on electrical installation and testing for high-visibility defense construction projects. Bridge technical execution with operational leadership by managing workforce, execution plans, cost and schedule thresholds, and quality standards. Serve as primary interface between engineering/design, scheduling, and field crews; drive daily/weekly execution plans and personnel deployment; ensure compliance with NEC/NFPA codes and DoD/government electrical standards. Supervisory role requires planning and leading electrical work in the field, coordinating with union labor, and maintaining safety and continuous improvement culture. Requires 5+ years in electrical construction with at least 1+ year in a Group Leader/Foreman-type role, working knowledge of NEC/NFPA and DoD electrical standards, and ability to interpret schematics and construction drawings. Roles involves 2nd shift with flexibility for nights, weekends, and overtime; based at The Navy Yard in Philadelphia, PA.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license (preferred)
- OSHA 30 certification (preferred)
- PMP or CM certification (a plus)
- 5+ years’ experience in electrical construction, with at least 1+ years of proven experience in a Group Leader, Foreman, General Foreman, or similar crew leadership role required
- Experience with electrical construction, ship construction, maintenance, or related fields highly preferred
- Experience with DoD/government electrical standards
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics, construction drawings, and work packages
- Familiarity with project controls, scheduling software, and performance metrics
- Proven track record managing union labor or large craft workforces
