Job Summary
Build, troubleshoot, and repair computer networked vending equipment, including mechanical assembly of cabinets and drawers, electrical wiring, soldering, and basic computer networking. Test new software features and use hand and power tools to meet specified assembly standards while following instructions and schematics. Perform occasional travel to customer locations and operate a forklift for loading and moving equipment. Maintain an organized work area and demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical issues. Valid driver's license and DOT Medical Certification required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in low-voltage electrical systems and mechanical repairs
- Strong troubleshooting skills for both electrical and mechanical issues
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, wiring, wire trimming, soldering, etc
- Mechanical Aptitude – Ability to use hand tools and work through break/fix scenarios independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Networking skills including basic understanding of IP networks, knowledge of LAN/WAN systems and wireless networks
- Computer Hardware knowledge – I/O devices such as handheld scanners, monitors, and related hardware
- Valid driver's license & acceptable driving record
- Ability to obtain/maintain a DOT Medical Certification
- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
- Experience interfacing with team members - ability to relay technical information in a concise manner
Desired Qualifications
- If you have worked as a Security System Technician or Low Voltage Technician, this would be a great fit
- The ideal candidate would be mechanically inclined with the ability to problem solve
- Forklift experience helpful, but we are willing to train
