Job Summary
Electrical and Mechanical Technician role focused on diagnosing and correcting electrical/electronic malfunctions beyond entry-level capabilities; troubleshoot PLC and related control-system issues; install, test, repair, and adjust electrical equipment such as recording, regulating, indicating, and controlling instruments. Supports engineering initiatives for new equipment or upgraded control systems (servos, PLCs, vision systems, motor controls, molding equipment). Performs preventive maintenance and calibration; provides training for Electrical Mechanical Technician Interns; collaborates with manufacturing, engineering, and leadership to uphold safety and quality standards. Requires a two-year technical degree and ~2 years of experience in troubleshooting automation equipment; on-site role with at least four days in-office per week; must be a licensed forklift operator.
