Job Summary
Assembles electro-mechanical products per customer-supplied assembly documentation and Vander-Bend standards. Responsibilities include completing mechanical, electrical, and electronic assemblies, following MPI/blueprints/verbal instructions, using hand tools and electrical tools (crimpers, cutters, soldering), setting up the work area, and logging labor hours and part quantities into Visual Manufacturing ERP. Participates in meetings to suggest improvements, maintains a clean workspace, and ensures proper handling of parts. Requires 1 year of assembly experience, ability to read/interpret blueprints, basic arithmetic, and proficiency with basic tools. Must be able to exert up to 50 lbs of force occasionally and up to 20 lbs frequently. On-site role in Stockton, CA with full-time permanent employment.
Required Qualifications
- Requires 1 year of previous assembly work
- Ability to read, write and perform basic arithmetic problems
- Reads and interprets blueprints and/or schematics
- Uses basic hand, electric, and pneumatic tools
- Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects
