Job Summary
Electrical-Mechanical Assembler at EMT International in Hobart, WI. Responsible for assembling electro-mechanical components and finished equipment, wiring, cable routing, panel assembly, pneumatic and mechanical component installation, and testing. Reads blueprints, wiring diagrams, BOMs, and assembly documentation; inspects assemblies for quality; troubleshoots electrical and wiring issues; uses hand and power tools and measuring equipment; collaborates with engineering and production on continuous improvement; assists with machine testing, setup, and shipment preparation.
Required Qualifications
- read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
- experience with electrical wiring, pneumatic systems, and mechanical assembly
- 2+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred
- Technical degree, certification, or related manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor, SAP, or Oracle is a plus
