Job Summary
Electrical Mechanic at Sheridan Brimfield (a CJK Group company) is a Multi-Craft Maintenance Technician on the night shift responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production equipment, reading electrical/mechanical drawings and ladder logic, performing preventative and corrective maintenance with hand/power tools and test equipment, collaborating with production to prioritize work orders and support changeovers, and documenting activities with a focus on reliability improvements. The role includes paid training, cross-training across electrical/mechanical systems, pneumatics/hydraulics, PLC exposure, 12-hour night schedules (7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m.), night shift premium, overtime potential, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6+ years maintaining and installing industrial equipment (electrical and mechanical)
- Hands-on experience with high-voltage systems, electronics troubleshooting, and mechanical repair
- Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and safely follow lockout/tagout procedures
- Proven self-starter who follows instructions, makes sound decisions, and works well on a team
- Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and overtime as needed
