Job Summary
Electrical Manager responsible for overseeing complex electrical projects across Walbec Group’s asphalt and aggregate plants, including budgeting, design support, capital-expenditure planning, subcontractor coordination, and field work. Lead electrical project execution, ensure safety and ethics, review designs/quotations, monitor budgets and schedules, perform field inspections, and develop standard specifications and maintenance procedures. Requires self-direction, ability to manage multiple priorities, strong communication and leadership skills, and familiarity with electrical schematics, prints, and codes; VFD/PLC experience and a 4-year electrical engineering degree preferred; Wisconsin-Illinois-Michigan regulatory knowledge and MSHA knowledge are a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Training and certification/licensing in the electrical field
- Strong understanding of electricity and related components
- Knowledge of electrical code guidelines and regulations (Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan)
- MSHA knowledge is a plus
