Job Summary
Maintain and repair production equipment by troubleshooting electrical control problems, performing routine and emergency maintenance, and installing new machinery. Develop preventive maintenance schedules, study equipment manuals, and modify machines to improve safety and productivity. Execute Roll Grinder duties including preparing applicator and squeegee rolls, while communicating repair steps and parts orders to plant personnel. Conduct daily housekeeping and engage in cross-functional training to strengthen team capability. Work a night shift with the ability to handle up to 12-hour shifts, utilizing PPE in areas near moving mechanical parts and hazardous chemicals.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Journeyman licensed
- 5+ years of experience in an industrial electrical maintenance position
- PLC experience
- Allen Bradley experience
- SLC 500 experience
- RSlogix 5/500/5000 experience
- PLC5 experience
- ControlLogix experience
- Micrologix experience
- Panelview systems experience
- Strong electrical knowledge (circuit breakers and fixtures)
- Demonstrated fault finding experience
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics
- Proficient communication skills
- Ability to explain complex electrical issues
- Must be able to perform physically demanding work
