Electrical Maintenance Technician II

Job Summary
Install, maintain, and replace electronic programmable controllers while troubleshooting analogic/digital signals and network communication. Inspect safety devices, complete hydraulic and pneumatic circuit modifications, and set up VFD/DRIVER parameters. Prioritize work orders, draft SOPs, and ensure assigned areas remain clean and organized. Lead projects, respond to radio calls, and provide remote or on-site support during unplanned downtime. Drive task completion for reactive repairs and proactive maintenance programs across electrical cabinets, MCC rooms, and production equipment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of electrical code
- 4 or more years industrial maintenance experience
- 2 years industrial electrical experience
- Ability to lead projects and complete successfully
- Be available for remote support or on-site support outside of normal work schedule
- Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms
- Required to walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- May be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balance
- May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required: close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
- Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particle
- May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures
- Noise level is usually loud
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in industrial electronics preferred
- Formal PLC training preferred
