Job Summary
Carry out general repairs, investigate and rectify faults, and complete scheduled and reactive maintenance to ensure asset reliability. Diagnose and repair electrical control panels, motor testing, level control equipment, inverters, and machinery including gearboxes, screw conveyers, and centrifuges. Perform inspections, maintenance, and fault diagnosis on large pumps, actuated valves, VSDs, and 3-phase electrical switchgear. Operate a company van for business use while working 37 hours per week across Bedford, St Neots, and surrounding areas. Join a collaborative team dedicated to protecting the environment and communities through water recycling infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- NVQ level 3 electrical qualification (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition electrical City & Guilds level 3 or equivalent
- Completed a relevant apprenticeship
- Full UK driving licence
- Demonstrable experience in completing inspections, maintenance and fault diagnosis
- Competence undertaking repairs to large pumps, actuated valves, VSD and 3-phase electrical switchgear
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
