Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of electrical maintenance activities for plant and equipment at Darling Downs Power Station. Implement, review, and execute equipment strategies, O&M plans, and support inventory optimization while managing contractors and providing expert technical advice to Production and Maintenance teams. Act as Site superintendent as required, leading change initiatives to improve performance and maintain the technical, environmental, and commercial integrity of assets. This role ensures safe, efficient operations within a safety-first environment, requiring strong leadership and problem-solving skills in a multidisciplinary team setting.
Required Qualifications
- Electrical Trade level qualifications
- considerable post trade and / or equivalent power station or similar external heavy industry experience
- Demonstrated problem-solving, fault-finding skills and experience
- Exceptional and demonstrable people leadership to drive a positive and inclusive workplace culture as a team leader
- Proven experience in maintenance planning and scheduling in the SAP environment
- Management of Change experience
- Continuous improvement skills and experience
- Experience with computerised enterprise Management of Work Systems (SAP preferred)
- GE Mark VIe Control System experience
- Experience with Computers and MS Office software
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
