Electrical Maintenance Supervisor

Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor ensures safe work practices and procedures, is responsible for the Health and Safety program, and performs safety audits. This role includes training employees, monitoring performance, and ensuring compliance with regulations. The supervisor will manage a team of about 20 people, conduct monthly safety meetings, and will be involved in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance strategies. Required skills include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with ERP systems, strong analytical and organizational abilities, and excellent communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- Ensures safe work practices and procedures
- Responsible for the application and formulation of the Company’s Health and Safety program
- Performs safety audits
- Ensures compliance with regulations and Company policies
- Defines department Quality Standards
- Monitors and evaluates performance
- Interviews and selects employment candidates
- Trains employees on job requirements
- Conducts monthly safety meetings
Desired Qualifications
- Qualified and Red Seal certified trades people
- Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering
- Previous planning experience in heavy industry
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., D-365, SAP, Oracle, NetSuite), WMS, TMS & Power BI
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and supervision skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Bilingual: English and French (oral and written)
