Job Summary
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor leads the maintenance, testing, and repair of large-scale electrical systems across an industrial campus, overseeing safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical wiring and equipment, diagnosing malfunctions in motors and control systems, inspecting for hazards, interpreting engineering drawings and blueprints, ensuring compliance with NFPA/OSHA and building codes, providing emergency response support, and coordinating maintenance activities using a CMMS. Strong supervisory skills and proficiency with diagnostic tools (ohmmeters, voltmeters, oscilloscopes) are required to manage a team and communicate technical information effectively while maintaining safety and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years facilities maintenance experience
- 2+ years supervisory or leadership experience
- NFPA Certification (current and valid)
- Proficiency with electrical/diagnostic equipment, hand tools, power tools
- Working knowledge of facility code requirements, standards, and building systems
- CMMS software experience
- Ability to be on-call for emergency response
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at height (ladders/scaffolding/lifts), operate in confined spaces
