Job Summary
Provide leadership and day-to-day supervision for the electrical team to ensure safe, timely, and effective operations. Manage industrial electrical systems, assign and prioritize work assignments, and oversee repairs, installations, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. Support operating teams with problem analysis and equipment failure resolution while enforcing safety policies and administering training programs. Maintain compliance with key performance indicators for equipment reliability and supplier performance. Oversee facility-related electrical projects, including building utility systems and HVAC controls. Work on-site in a poultry processing environment with rotating weekend shifts required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- four years of relevant experience supervising maintenance teams in food processing or poultry environments
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, and electrical systems, including both control and industrial wiring
- Proficiency in pipe fitting, plumbing, welding, shop machinery, sheet metal, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical controls and instrumentation, and automatic equipment operation including setup, repair, and tear down
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of organizational planning, teamwork, analytical reasoning, and leadership skills
- Ability and willingness to work rotating weekends as required
- Must be able to pass a drug, alcohol and background screening post-offer and prior to the start of their employment
- Verification of employment eligibility must be documented by the end of the third day of work
- Ability to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chilled conditions within the plant
- Willingness to wear hair and beard nets and any additional personal protective equipment required by task, location, or safety standards
