Job Summary
Electrical Maintenance Manager responsible for leading and supervising maintenance teams in a steel mill environment. Focus on leadership, planning, and execution of maintenance activities, including outages and repairs, with an emphasis on multi-voltage systems. Requires strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, experience supervising teams (union experience a plus), and the ability to manage schedules, resources, and improvement plans. Preferred B.S./A.A.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Rotating shifts are required. Location: Gary, Indiana, USA.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years' experience supervising maintenance teams
- Experience with multi-voltage outages and repair
- B.S./A.A.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, preferred
- Experience managing schedules, resources, and improvement plans
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
