Job Summary
Conduct fault-finding and diagnosis on PLC-controlled equipment, carrying out planned preventative maintenance on pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, and robots per manufacturer recommendations. Analyze and resolve electrical and mechanical faults while performing regular inspections and assisting with risk assessments. Work at heights up to 20m with appropriate training in a 42-hour shift rotation covering days, nights, and weekends at South Elmsall Warehouses. Requires Level 3 Apprenticeship qualification, PLC experience, and ability to work under pressure. Join a highly skilled team supporting 24/7 warehouse automation operations.
Required Qualifications
- Level 3 Apprenticeship in Electrical Maintenance Engineering or equivalent
- Experience in a similar role as a Maintenance Engineer or Technician
- PLC experience
- Experience working with the maintenance of pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors
- Resilient and work well under pressure
- Team player and good communicator
- Flexible with a 'can do' approach and able to adapt to a changing environment and working hours
- PC literate
- Work at Heights of up to 20m with appropriate training
- Subject to DBS and credit checks
