Job Summary
Lineman Apprentice responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical lines and associated equipment; operate bucket trucks, loaders, and backhoes to facilitate work on electrical infrastructure; use voltmeters and other tools to troubleshoot electrical issues; climb poles or structures as necessary; collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure safety and efficiency; follow all safety regulations and protocols while working with high voltage systems; assist in cabling tasks as required for various projects.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in electrical work
- Ability to operate rigging equipment safely
- Familiarity with cabling techniques for electrical installations
- Competence in operating bucket trucks, loaders, and backhoes
- Strong climbing skills for elevated work
- Knowledge of high voltage systems and safety measures
- Previous experience on construction sites is preferred
