Job Summary
Electrical Journeyman responsible for installation, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems in retail, commercial, and industrial environments per NEC. Travel to any US state as needed; remote work from home with dispatch from your current area. Responsibilities include adhering to safety standards, maintaining as-built drawings and service records, handling MAC-type projects, and managing time, expenses, materials, and field resources across project lifecycles. Must hold a valid state electrical license, be willing to travel extensively, and possess strong client relations and communication skills. Desirable familiarity with network infrastructure, structured cabling, and telecommunication equipment; ability to read and interpret prints and schematics; proficiency with MS Office and mobile tools; ability to pass background checks and drug screening. Required Qualifications
- Valid electrical license issued by state of residence and maintained in good standing
- Ability to travel extensively to anywhere in the United States for several weeks at a time
- Flexibility to work traditional second and third shifts
- Strong client/people relationship skills
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, structured cabling, and telecommunication equipment (or willingness to learn)
- Proficiency with phones, mobile apps, and PCs (Microsoft Office preferred)
- Ability to read and understand prints and schematics related to installation SOWs
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass MVR
- Meet pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Safety-minded approach in all settings
- Ability to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and circuits in retail, commercial, and industrial settings per NEC
- Experience with EMT conduit pathways, wiring, and breakers
- Maintain as-built drawings and service records
- Experience with MAC (Move, Add, Change) projects
- Manage time, expenses, materials, and field resources throughout project lifecycles
- Manage work orders and project documentation including customer deliverables
