Electrical & Instrumentation Technician

Job Summary
Maintain and repair medium voltage equipment, calibrate and troubleshoot transmitters and electronic devices, and program Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for oil and gas pipeline facilities. Provide E&I support for assets such as pipelines, remote monitoring facilities, and pump stations; install, inspect, troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate instruments (flow meters, transmitters, sensors, analyzers, data loggers) and electrical equipment (motor control centers, generators, transformers, switches, relays, PDCs, UPS); configure and program industrial control systems with testing and verification; generate and manage maintenance documentation; respond to alarms and coordinate maintenance activities. Requires safe/regulated operation, field support across multiple facilities, and willingness to travel; candidate must live within 45 minutes of Lima, OH. Also involves compliance with Environmental, Safety and Regulatory requirements and potential overtime or call-outs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Associate’s degree or Journeyman’s card in a related technical field (preferred)
- Previous electrical or instrumentation experience
- Proficiency in basic computer skills
- Previous pipeline electrical and instrumentation experience (preferred)
- Must hold a valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Must be able to pass a general background check as well as a Motor Vehicle Background check
