Electrical & Instrumentation Technician (3:00 PM – 11:00)

Job Summary
Maintain and troubleshoot electrical distribution, industrial control systems, PLCs, motors, VFDs, and process instrumentation to ensure refinery operations. Diagnose 480V equipment failures, perform preventive and predictive maintenance, and execute installations and upgrades while utilizing SAP for documentation. Read electrical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics to support root cause analysis and reliability improvements. Adhere to NFPA 70E, LOTO, and all plant safety procedures during daily activities. Work the 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shift Monday through Friday with occasional overtime, supporting highly automated food-grade vegetable oil processing equipment.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial electrical/instrumentation maintenance experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Experience with PLCs
- Experience with Motors
- Experience with VFDs
- Experience with Instrumentation
- Experience with Pneumatics
- Experience with Process equipment
- Ability to interpret electrical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Commitment to safety
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in food manufacturing, refining, chemical processing, paper, power generation or similar industrial environments
