Job Summary

Install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and distributive control equipment throughout the facility. Perform preventive, repair, and calibration maintenance on low and medium voltage switchgear, circuit breakers, motor starters, power transformers, high voltage switchyards, and motor control centers. Execute maintenance tasks for energy-from-waste boilers, air pollution control systems, and continuous emissions monitoring systems. Diagnose and repair electronic, digital, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems while operating calibration equipment and mobile machinery. Initiate work orders, document critical information, and respond to emergency repairs during off hours. Work rotating shifts, overtime, and outages while adhering to strict safety procedures, lockout/tagout protocols, and environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in the Industrial or Power Industry Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Field
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as a 3rd class E&I Technician with minimum required instrumentation training/experience
  • Licenses required as necessary to comply with State, Environmental, and/or Federal regulatory agencies
  • Licensed as necessary by State, Environmental, and/or Federal regulatory agencies (if Electrician)
