Job Summary
Maintain and troubleshoot HMI, PLC, process control, and electrical problems while supervising E & I Technicians and overseeing daily plant activities. Develop new electrical and process control systems, coordinate projects with outside contractors and management, and schedule calibrations with written documentation. Perform electrical maintenance per prescribed guidelines, install hardware and software configurations, and establish written training programs for plant staff. Research equipment and provide recommendations for plant upgrades and project costs. Coordinate day-to-day operations to ensure minimal downtime and maintain system documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Possess strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
- Possess a strong knowledge of industrial electrical and motor control systems
- Must be understand proper instrumentation installation, repair, and calibration procedures
- Possess a working knowledge of PLC programming and hydraulic and pneumatic system controls schemes
- Able to read electrical and mechanical blue prints
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 3+ years of experience working with industrial electrical and motor control equipment
- 3+ years of programmable logic controller programming experience or equivalent
