Job Summary

Conduct operations, maintenance, and construction support activities for the Instrumentation Engineering Team. Collaborate with project and operations teams to align engineering needs with site requirements. Review assets and data to improve maintenance frequency and equipment uptime. Assist engineers in producing work packages and gather field measurements to troubleshoot instrumentation and valve performance issues. Support field installation, commissioning, and design verification for engineering contractors. Evaluate equipment purchase specifications and coordinate with various disciplines to resolve engineering issues. Maintain project deliverables including lessons learned logs and technical deviation requests.

Required Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering or within one year of graduation
  • Possess a valid Class 5 Alberta driver's license or equivalent out-of-province license
  • Possess a reasonably clean driver's abstract
  • Ability to safely operate work trucks
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions

  • Previous engineering experience
  • Previous field experience
