Job Summary

Conduct field verification, as-built updates, and instrumentation loop isolation to support pre-turnaround, turnaround, and post-turnaround E&I scope. Prepare for BAHX removal and replacement, including cable tray installation, wiring reinstatement, and material supply. Collect and verify documentation against ITP, prepare detailed inspection reports, and record non-conformities while investigating causes and assisting in corrective actions. Communicate effectively with welders, engineers, and other personnel. This contract runs from August 31 to September 29, 2026, in Fort McMurray, with a rotation of 6 days on and 1 day off during the turnaround period. Candidates require at least one Certified Red Seal or Journeyman Electrical Quality Inspector credential and five to ten years of industrial electrical inspection experience, with five years specifically in QA/QC at turnarounds.

Required Qualifications

  • At least one of the following: Certified Red Seal or Journey man Electrical Quality Inspector
  • Five to ten (5 - 10) years industrial Electrical related inspection experience
  • Five (5) of these years should be in Quality Assurance / Quality Control at turnarounds, vendor surveillance / shop inspections
  • Industrial experience in Oil & gas / Power & Utility / Construction / Manufacturing, etc.
  • Candidate needs to be an independent contractor
