Electrical Instructor

Instruct program participants in trade skills using approved curriculum while developing supporting training materials as needed. Coordinate hands-on training activities including on-site and community-based projects, demonstrating proper tool and equipment use with an emphasis on safety. Assist with student recruitment, placement, and employability training by monitoring, mentoring, and coaching students. Foster positive working relationships with funders, program partners, and other personnel while participating in outreach and employer relationship development. Perform various administrative and reporting functions and ensure proper use, storage, and security of tools and equipment. Adhere to all applicable safety protocols including OSHA 10. Work in usual office-type conditions with routine physical demands involving walking, standing, and sitting.
