Job Summary
The Electrical Instructor at FCI Fort Dix is responsible for delivering the Electrical program, conducting classroom and lab activities, and preparing inmates for the workplace. The instructor must prepare lesson plans, maintain student records, enforce policies, and motivate students. Requires a minimum of 5 years of experience as an electrician, a Certified Technician License, and proficiency in electrical systems installation and repair. Compliance with safety and federal procedures, including background checks and health requirements, is mandatory.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience working as an Electrician
- Certified Technician License (Department Licensing and Regulation)
- Demonstrated experience and proficiency with installation and repair on all types of commercial and residential electrical systems
- Compliance with Homeland Security and Federal procedures including background checks
