Job Summary
As an Electrical Installer, you will install, program, test, repair, and service a variety of systems related to security, fire alarm, and life safety with minimal guidance. You will work closely with customers and colleagues, interpreting schematics, performing equipment repairs, and ensuring quality service. Key responsibilities include providing technical support, training less experienced staff, and taking ownership of project safety and performance. A strong mechanical and electrical aptitude is required, alongside effective communication skills. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and experience in the electronic security field.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years in electronic security industry
- Previous construction experience including some level of electrical or a low voltage background
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant trade designation (e.g. Electrician)
- Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
- Experience with Axis / Bosch / DMP / Lenel / Software House
