Electrical Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of wire harnesses, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, connectors, and electrical enclosures using calipers, multimeters, insulation resistance testers, and continuity mats. Interpret 2D/3D schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs to translate them into inspection plans, tolerance tables, and checklists. Verify that all wiring, components, and subassemblies meet engineering specifications, code requirements, and customer obligations while collaborating with Design, Production, and Reliability teams to close non-conformances. Perform electrical inspection verification using measurement hand tools and software-assisted tools in a full-time 37.5-hour role near Milton Keynes, England, for a 3-month+ project with flexible working options including a 4-day week.
Required Qualifications
- IPC620 – Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
- Understanding and handling of ESD products
- Performing electrical inspection verification by use of measurement hand tools such as Digital Volt Multimeters, Ohmmeters
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately
- Basic problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- This role is inside IR35, and candidates will be required to work via an Umbrella Company

- IPC610 – Electronic Assembly Standard
- ATE programming and testing
