Job Summary
Electrical Inspector role in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, responsible for ensuring safety, quality, and compliance of electrical installations across projects. Tasks include inspecting electrical systems and components for compliance with local/international codes, reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting tests with specialized equipment, documenting deficiencies and hazards, collaborating with contractors and project teams to resolve issues, preparing detailed inspection reports, staying updated on code changes, and providing guidance to improve electrical safety and efficiency on-site. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field), at least 10 years of experience in electrical inspection, and strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian and international electrical codes, with proficiency in English (Arabic a plus) and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical inspection or related field
- Proficiency in Saudi Arabian and international electrical codes and standards
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
- Proven experience working on construction sites and industrial facilities
- Expertise in using various testing equipment and inspection tools
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic language skills are a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant inspection software
- Meticulous attention to detail with a strong commitment to safety and quality
- In-depth knowledge of construction industry regulations and safety standards
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Familiarity with Saudi Arabian construction practices and regulations
