Electrical Inspector

Job Summary
Conduct electrical and mechanical tests, including destructive and nondestructive evaluations on metals and materials using magnaflex, dye penetrant, radiographic, tension, compression, paint thickness, and resistivity methods. Perform surveillance of underground piping for tightness, bedding, and grade while validating systems through P&ID checks and pressure tests. Inspect electrical installations for proper grounding, circuit integrity, and regulatory compliance, and verify equipment alignment and balancing operations. Provide general inspection on construction labor and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship and participate in developing quality control reports and job safety practices.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or at least 3-Years Diploma in Electrical engineering discipline
- Minimum 10 years of construction work experience related to LV network, street lighting, traffic signals, pumping/lifting station, storm water, sewerage and general infrastructure projects preferably in the region
- Good written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project team
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and construction specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction related processes related to area of assignment
