Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance, repairs, visual inspections, and thermal scans on electrical distribution systems, lighting, and utility infrastructure. Execute lockout/tagout procedures, PPE requirements, and 6S housekeeping while working safely at heights, in confined spaces, and in high-noise environments. Document all activities, inspection results, and troubleshooting data in the CMMS to ensure NFPA 70B and NFPA 70E compliance. This contract-to-hire role supports continuous improvement of facility power components, requiring journeyman-level electrical experience and availability for Sunday through Saturday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman-level electrical experience or higher
- Experience maintaining industrial electrical systems, power distribution, and electrical infrastructure
- Knowledge of NFPA 70B, NFPA 70E, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and electrical safety practices
- Experience performing preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs
- Experience using a CMMS to document maintenance activities and inspection records
- Ability to work in clean rooms, at heights, in confined spaces, and in high-noise industrial environments
- High school diploma or GED
- Available for Shift A: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Available for Shift C: Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Wednesday (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
