Job Summary
Conduct routine diagnosis, repair, refurbishment, and support for all Imaging Systems products to component level. Assist Engineering with system upgrades, Engineering Change Orders, and new product implementation while developing standard repair procedures to ISO standards. Provide technical support via telephone or email, manage customer service spare parts inventory, and deliver accurate repair estimates including labor and materials. Train lower-level technicians on operator and maintenance procedures for Imaging Systems and assist in developing process manuals. Requires 5-7 years of related experience, proficiency with electronic test equipment, and ability to lift 45 pounds unassisted. Salary range $62,800-$83,700.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years of prior work experience in a related field
- 3-5 years of prior experience servicing thermal imaging equipment
- AS degree in electronics or equivalent
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Proficiency using electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, digital voltmeters, etc.)
- Interpersonal and telephone communication skills
- Technical knowledge of computers, computer peripherals and software programs
- Able and willing to lift a minimum of 45 pounds unassisted as needed
- Applicants must be either a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, legal permanent resident, asylee, refugee or must be eligible to apply for and obtain the appropriate export control license from the U.S. Departments of State or Commerce
