Job Summary
Assist Journeymen, Apprentices, and Foremen with daily electrical installation activities by handling materials, measuring, drilling, mounting supports, pulling wire, and assembling conduit under direct supervision. Load, unload, organize, and transport tools and electrical materials throughout the jobsite while maintaining clean, organized work areas free of debris. Follow all OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and PPE requirements, including participation in weekly toolbox talks. Maintain, clean, and properly store company tools and equipment to ensure efficient operations. This entry-level role supports commercial and industrial construction projects, ideal for individuals seeking to begin a career in the electrical trade. Bilingual proficiency is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Willingness to learn is essential
- Ability to safely use basic hand tools
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Must possess a basic set of hand tools appropriate for helper-level work
- Ability to pass drug test and background check
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs regularly
- Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, and scissor lifts at various heights
- Comfortable standing, walking, kneeling, bending, and working in varying weather conditions
