Job Summary
Gathers tools and supplies, measures, cuts, and bends wire and conduit, drills holes for wiring, and pulls or pushes wiring through openings. Trace out short circuits using a test meter, assist in diagnosing malfunctioning systems, and perform minor repairs like replacing fuses, light sockets, and switches. Disassemble defective equipment, replace worn parts, and reassemble apparatus while assisting with lifting and positioning wiring, conduit, and motors. Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet state regulations. Requires 1-2 years of experience; legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience
- Must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- May frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
