Job Summary
Electrical Design Engineer on Starlink responsible for rapidly developing high-reliability satellite electronics with end-to-end ownership from concept through production and on-orbit performance. Responsibilities include system trades, requirements capture, component selection, schematic capture, PCB layout oversight, prototyping, hardware bring-up, debugging, documentation, manufacturing, test, and supporting flight hardware. Collaborate closely with mechanical, thermal, software, test engineering, supply chain, silicon design, and other engineering teams to deliver tightly integrated hardware. Embrace problem-solving, questioning requirements, and learning from mistakes while delivering high-performance hardware across avionics and payload subsystems for satellites. Required to work on-site in Redmond, WA; some travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or physics
- 1+ years of experience designing circuits, electronic products, or hardware (internships/co-ops can apply)
