Electrical Hardware Design Engineer II

Job Summary
Design, development, and testing of Knowmadics’ hardware for next-generation electronic products. Transition schematic designs into PCB layouts and perform hands-on lab validation of prototype PCAs and systems. Research and select electrical components, generate and maintain BOMs, test plans, and assembly instructions, and collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to resolve hardware issues across the product lifecycle from concept to manufacturing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or closely related field
- 0 to 2 years of professional or internship experience in electrical hardware design
- Eligible to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance – U.S. Citizenship required
- Experience with or familiarity with Altium Designer, OrCAD Capture, or Mentor PADS (desirable)
- Lab skills: oscilloscopes, digital multimeters, function generators, soldering tools
- Troubleshooting: basic circuit analysis, signal troubleshooting, PCA hardware testing methodologies
