Job Summary
The Electrical Foreman supports the Superintendent by providing leadership and overseeing a range of responsibilities, including scheduling, planning, coordinating, supervising, assisting with cost control, and ensuring safety. This role also upholds the consistent and fair application of all OBR policies and procedures, as well as the proper training and productivity of crews performing electrical work on cooling tower systems. The Electrical Foreman works closely with the Superintendent to ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in accordance with OBR quality standards. Leads teams of electricians and electrical technicians, ensuring that all tasks assigned by the Superintendent are executed correctly and in compliance with applicable electrical codes and standards. Depending on project location, extensive travel may be required. May independently manage an inspection or a small electrical project without direct supervision.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work
- 1 year (minimum) as a foreman or lead electrician in an industrial or commercial electrical environment (or promoted through OBR Cooling Towers, Inc. training process)
- Certification in CPR and First Aid
- Valid Driver’s License
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred
