Job Summary
Industrial Electrical Foreman leading a crew of electricians, apprentices, and helpers in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in facilities such as manufacturing plants, power plants, process plants, and mining operations. Responsibilities include reading electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications to plan work sequences and layouts; wiring and conduit installation for machines and equipment including robots, conveyors, and programmable controllers; diagnosing and replacing faulty components (transformers, motors, relays, switches, lighting) using test equipment; ensuring safety and compliance with codes, standards, and Matrix Service policies; and providing supervision, technical oversight, and coordination of tasks to ensure safe, efficient project execution.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of four (4) years or more of refinery maintenance/turnaround/or construction experience.
- Must be able to pass the Craft Skills Test at or above 70% or have an NCCER certification for your craft.
- Must have a good understanding of Matrix Service policies and procedures.
- Must Completed the Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T. Class and Client / Site specific training.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status in a drug testing program.
