Job Summary
Electrical Foreman responsible for on-site management and safety of electrical installations across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. Lead and coordinate field personnel (1-6 Helpers/Apprentices/Journeypersons) to meet project deadlines within budget and quality standards, oversee safety compliance (OSHA), enforce NEC/state/local codes, review blueprints/shop drawings, and maintain client relationships. Requires possession of Journeyperson skills, Accredited Apprenticeship completion or six years’ electrical experience, and Journeyman license as required by location. Strong leadership, communication, and ability to visualize completed work prior to installation are essential, along with ability to manage materials, change orders, inspections, and coordination with owners/architects/vendors.
Required Qualifications
- Understands and can perform all Journeyperson skills
- Journeyman License requirement in states, locales, or projects, as required
- Accredited Apprenticeship Program completion or six years on the job electrical experience required
- Possesses technical knowledge, safety knowledge, and ability to work with live/energized parts
- Demonstrates and enforces proper use and safe handling of tools, equipment, and materials
- Education: High School graduate or equivalency, preferred
