Electrical Foreman

Job Summary
Electrical Foreman to lead crews on commercial and industrial projects across Iowa. Responsible for supervising field operations, ensuring safety and quality workmanship, coordinating with project managers and inspectors, planning and assigning work to meet schedules, reading blueprints and electrical schematics, ensuring compliance with NEC/OSHA and company standards, training and mentoring apprentices and journeymen, and managing daily reports, materials, and inventory. Travel to project sites throughout Iowa as required; requires leadership experience, strong electrical knowledge, and ability to manage multiple job sites and travel logistics.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman Electrician license (Iowa or reciprocal state) preferred
- 5+ years of commercial/industrial electrical experience
- 2+ years in a leadership or foreman role preferred
- Strong knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Willingness to travel statewide for projects
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred
- Strong communication and team leadership skills
- Ability to work in varying weather and job site conditions
- Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and basic reporting software
