Job Summary
Lead and supervise craft personnel on construction and maintenance tasks in a heavy industrial setting. Coordinate safety initiatives, develop work plans, assign and instruct crews, monitor progress to ensure tasks are completed safely, skillfully, and on schedule. Read blueprints with precision, estimate labor/materials/equipment, inspect completed work for quality, and maintain daily reports and inventory. Requires 4 years of experience across multiple crafts, OSHA 30 safety requirements, ability to pass a DOT drug test, and completion of the company safety training. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work 50+ hours per week. Based in Lubbock, TX with Saulsbury Industries’ expansive project footprint.
Required Qualifications
- OSHA 30 Safety Requirements
- Four (4) years of experience in work involving a variety of layout, installation, and construction and maintenance tasks
- Ability to pass drug test as mandated by Saulsbury Industries and Department of Transportation anti-drug program
- Must attend and successfully complete Saulsbury Industries safety training education
- Reads and visualizes objects from blueprints with attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb 30-foot ladders
- Ability to work 50+ hours per week
- Ability to communicate effectively and lead a work crew
- Keen understanding of safety policies and procedures
